Throughout the month of November EAG will recycle your batteries, plastic bags, and printer cartridges for you. Bring them to a Rotary meeting. We’ll have bins and will see that these are properly recycled. When it comes to the environment, we can’t do everything, but we can do SOMETHING! Thanks.

On Sunday May 4, Rotary Club of Ann Arbor was a proud sponsor of the Third Annual A2 Climate Teach-in. Over 225 people learned, connected and planned as the Teach-in provided inspirational role models, specific action steps, and networking opportunities. Many Rotary members attended. We all moved From Climate Distress to Climate Action.

A2Zero is promoting two programs that support sustainable lawn care in Ann Arbor. Rotarians, take action. 1) pollinator-aware yard care and 2) avoiding gas-powered yard care. At St Andrews Church on Friday, April 25 Rotarians Bonita Singal, Dennis Burke, Nishta Bhatia and Don Duquette joined friends from Kiwanis, Zero Waste, the city and Recycle Ann Arbor for the annual Move Out collection of materials. (You can tell the Rotarians because they are the best looking ones. :>) )  

The EAG Book Swap was a big success last Wednesday. Books get people talking and interacting, browsing and chatting. Very enjoyable. Books were recirculated – and not just thrown away.
