The Rotary Club of Ann Arbor and Rotary International offer rewarding learning opportunities for youth and young adults through the following programs:
Interact – Rotary Interact gives students ages 12-18 the chance to make a real difference. Interact students fulfill two service projects a year: one local that helps their school or community, and one out-of-state or international that enhances a community. Interact provides a great opportunity for students to make new friends and develop a sense of achievement.
Two of our area High School Interact Clubs within District 6380 earned Rotary International Presidential Citation Awards this past year. The recipients of the Presidential Citation awards included:
Huron High School Interact Club of Ann Arbor, MI
Pioneer High School Interact Club of Ann Arbor, MI
The Presidential Citation award is Rotary’s attempt to define the characteristics of a successful and growing Interact Club. Only about 20% of the Interact Clubs active in 120 countries around the world earn this Presidential Citation by inspiring positive change and thereby improving their communities.
