The Rotaract Club at the University of Michigan started up in 2000 and officially was chartered on January 18, 2005. The Club gets together each fall to celebrate its chartering by welcoming new students to membership. On October 24, Dirk Rierson and August Pasche, two of this year’s new members were inducted at the annual Charter Dinner held at Ann Arbor’s Original Cottage Inn. Rotarians Dennis Powers, Don Duquette, Fanfan Zheng, Arthur Williams, Mary Steffek Blaske, and Mary Sutton were  on hand to join in the festivities.
