Week Three: Rotarians Making a Difference through the Pandemic Response Fund (May 1 – May 31)

This message was received on Friday (May 14th) by the Disaster Response Committee:

“The Shelter Association of Washtenaw County is grateful for the generosity and support received by The Rotary Club of Ann Arbor affording us the opportunity to care for our unsheltered neighbors during these most unprecedented of times. Together we are stronger, together we build community!”

FUND TOTAL: $43,265, we need just $6,735 by Wednesday, May 20 to reach our MATCH goal of $50,000.

With your GENEROSITY, we can meet this deadline and begin matching dollar for dollar!!!

RCAA   $75,000 + $25,000 match = $100,00     OR EVEN BETTER

RCAA  $100,000+ $50,000 match =  $ 150,000

Pandemic Response Fund Disbursements to date:

Shelter Association of Washtenaw County (Delonis):

$ 300 for non-contact digital thermometers

$7500 for staffing the five sites providing services to the homeless

SafeHouse

$3000 for overtime staffing for domestic violence and sexual assault services
