Volunteers Needed for 7th Annual Veteran Hiring Event, Saturday Nov 13

We need volunteers for the 7th Annual Veteran Hiring Event on Saturday November 13, Concordia University, 9:30 AM-12:00 PM.
This event is hosted by Hire MI Vet. Volunteers are needed to be:
1) Welcoming Ambassadors to direct all attendees where to go when entering the building -veterans, employers & volunteers.
2) Ambassadors (6 needed) that match Veterans with the appropriate employers after reviewing the Veterans resume and background.
3) Food area –coordinate the (2 needed) to maintain proper sanitary proceedures.
4) Employers area -coordinate and greet employers (1 needed) area ensuring employers needs are met.
5) Veterans Service Organizations areacoordinate (1 needed) and greet Veterans Service Organizations (VSO) area ensuing these organizations needs are satisfied.
6) Registration of Veterans (4 needed) – manage Veterans checking, pre-registered and walk-ins.
