The STRIVE Committee is looking for volunteers who are interested in helping disadvantaged students pursue their educations.
We meet once a month, usually by Zoom. Some of the committee members choose to become mentors who work with the students at Pathways to Success High School once a month.
It is a challenging and rewarding experience culminated at the May Rotary meeting when the students and their family members are our guests for the scholarship presentations.
This past May, our speaker was a former STRIVE Scholarship recipient who is now working on his doctorate in Anthropology at the University of Michigan.
