On the final day of the month our club had 200 Active Members. All membership information is pulled from ClubRunner statistics. Attendance for September’s meetings was 37% (up 4% from last month). Average attendance at each meeting was 74 members and 9 guests. Our Engagement Ratio for the month was 59% (down 4% from last month).
October’s membership saw two terminations and three new members inducted. New members included Christian Mile, Bonita Singal and Gertrude Waigumbulizi. Terminations included Millie Danielson and Richard Marsh, both deceased. The board approved to include Fernando Leon into membership.
Our club financial highlights include Foundation total assets of $3,015,710.65, and Club operating cash balance of $85,614.51.

- The Board of Directors approved the June 30, 2024 Reviewed Financial Statements for the:

Yoga Retreat P&L
- The Yoga Retreat revenue in excess of expenses currently stands at $7,168.73. All expenses have yet to be accounted for.
CSA Payments
- To date, 38 CSA payments have been received (19% of members). Reminders will continue to go out.
Governor visit on January 29
- Sharna Hatcher will be visiting and speaking to membership at the January 29 Weekly Business Meeting.
New members for Foundation/Endowment Committee
- The board approved the addition of two trustee members to the Foundation/Endowment Committee:
- Kate VanHorn and Ben Bolen
Check from Hire MI Vet Project
- The Program is dissolving due to other programs in the community who are helping vets.
- Members of our Club were the original contributors (not the club directly). It is expected that the committee regarding assisting Vet’s will continue to provide this support.
- In light of the plan to dissolve The Hire MI Vet non-profit its Board of Directors have inquired whether the Ann Arbor Rotary Foundation would accept an asset transfer in the amount of $25,000.
- The board approved the motion from the Internal Financial Procedures Committee (IFPC) to accept the dissolution assets from the Hire MI Vet non-profit agency, without any restrictions or obligations.
