Past President Joanne provided an update on the Executive Director Job Description Group and Internal Finance Procedures Sub-Committee (IFPC). The IFPC has been exploring the need to look outside of membership and current staff to handle the financial procedures of our club. Consequently, the executive director job description has been divided into two pieces: Financial Manager and Administrative. Once the job description is finalized, it will be sent to the search committee.
Rotary Mentors and Tutors. Tutor count is currently at seven, which is down significantly from the 21 Tutors we had pre-Covid. The tutors are currently operating in three schools; however, 3-5 more schools would like tutors if we can find them. The committee has asked for as many communication points as possible (Rotarian, Podium announcements, etc.) to recruit new tutors as the need is great. The committee is exploring many options to grow and increase engagement and is looking for help from the board and membership.
