Summary of Board of Directors Meeting – June 17, 2026

On the final day of the month, our club had 196 Active Members. Attendance for March’s meetings was 31% (the same as the previous month). Attendance for June’s meetings was 31% (up 3% from the previous month). Average attendance at each meeting was 59 members and 7 guests. Our Engagement Ratio for the month was 59% (up 8% from last month).

Treasury Update

Our club financial highlights include Foundation total assets $4,319,675 and Club operating cash balance of  $82,710.

As of July 13th, there were 74 members who have not paid their dues.

Strategic Plan Status

  • Immediate Past President Dawn provided a recap for new board members of what was accomplished last fiscal year;

  • The Past-President will lead the strategic plan each year. Dawn is kicking this off in August. A committee has been formed already, but she will open it to anyone interested.

Member’s Matter

  • President Roy is focusing on taking care of existing members during his year, as well as developing new members.
  • He would like to provide more visibility for members who are busy doing activities, such as committee members who are working on committees but unable to attend our weekly business meeting.
  • He is exploring new ideas such as random table assignments and new ways to recognize members.
  • Developing a print Membership Directory has been discussed in the recent Membership Committee. 

EAG University of Michigan Sponsor

  • Dennis Burke asked the board to approve a Club Sponsorship for U-M’s School of Environment & Sustainability college. The board discussed and approved the Club Sponsorship. On September 28, we will be recognized as a sponsor of an environmentally-focused film screening at the Michigan Theater.
