SEND HUNGER PACKING – A huge success!

Rotarians and friends after loading the KCAH truck

On Saturday, November 5, a total of 200 eager volunteers, hosted by the three Ann Arbor Rotary Clubs, gathered in the Pioneer High School cafeteria to assemble packets of dry ingredients for 32,000 “one-pot” meals. Their work was completed in about 90 minutes of intense, exciting, and fun activity. One-third of the packets will be distributed to eight local charities, one-third will be sent internationally, and the final third kept for emergencies. The project was supported by over $10,500 from a total of 56 donors. Details and more photos will be shared from the podium on Wednesday and in next week’s “Rotarian.”
