On Saturday, April 12, 2025, your Rotarian Road Waste Warriors waged havoc on the trash strewn about I-94 between State St. and Platt Rd. A big THANK YOU to the nine Rotarians and two UM Rotaractors who picked up 45 bags of trash and set them along the side of the road for MDOT to pick up.

We were blessed with a sunny and cool spring morning and afterward enjoyed a boxed lunch from the Rel.ish restaurant at the Kensington Hotel, and many stories shared with the young UM students of how university life has changed over the many decades represented by the crew.

The next pickup event will be held in mid-September, we hope you can join us then!
