On Friday May 27, 2022,  the Rotary Membership committee  invited new members to a private meeting with Prosecutor Eli Savit and a tour at his office at 200 N. Main.  Ten staff members from the Prosecutor’s Office spoke to our group of six Rotarians (Eli Savit, Marlena Studer, Barbara Eichmuller, Sal Barbatano, Ademola Osofisan, Kate VanHorn, Fanfan Zheng) about their important work in management of Child Support Services, Victim Services, Juvenile Court, Domestic Violence, Criminal Violations, Economic Justice and Expungement Services.  We are grateful to Prosecutor Eli Savit and Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Victoria Burton-Harris for taking the time to explain how they are leading the way in Washtenaw County to make historic strides forward in criminal justice reform.
