Rotarians Adopt A Highway Clean Up Day

On Sunday September 22, 18 Rotarians, Rotaractors, and a couple of guests spent their morning cleaning up I-94 as part of the semi-annual MDOT Adopt-A-Highway program. If you drive along there between State Street and Platt Road, you might notice a couple of sections that are quite a bit tidier. That is because this amazing group picked up 56 bags of trash! We had 3 University of Michigan Students, part of the Rotaract Club join us. Adopt-A-Highway is a great hands-on project that has a tangible and positive impact on our environment and provides a great opportunity to work alongside our fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Guests. We wrapped the day enjoying a delicious lunch and shared stories of the day on the road. You can experience this all yourself by joining us at our Spring Clean Up event next April.
