Rotarian Bob Mull recognized for his work on the VITA Program

At a special ceremony on October 17, 2024, the Toqueville Society of the United Way of Ann Arbor recognized Bob Mull with a Spirit of Toqueville Award with the following citation:

Robert (Bob) Mull retired from Ford Motor Company in 2006 after 34 years of exemplary service. While his philanthropic endeavors are numerous, he’s demonstrated a strong passion and dedication to helping people achieve financial stability. He is responsible for starting the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in Washtenaw County and is headed into his 15th season as lead volunteer for this impactful initiative. From January – April, you can find Bob at the United Way Ann Arbor office where he spends more than 40 hours a week helping clients, days, nights and weekends. Bob and his wife, Carol, have been proud United Way supporters for 25+ years and contribute in many ways to the vitality of the Washtenaw community.
