RCAA 2026 Nominating Committee Updates

The RCAA nominating committee, Barbara Eichmuller, Susan Froelich, Dawn Johnson (Chair), Roy More, Rob Shiff, and Kathy Waugh met at the beginning of August to discuss recruitment for the open leadership and board positions beginning July 2, 2027.

We are recruiting for the following positions:

• President Elect 2027-2028 (President 2028-2029)
• Club Service Director (July 1,2027 – June 30, 2029)
• Community Service Director (July 1,2027 – June 30, 2029)
• Youth Development Director (July 1,2027 – June 30, 2029)
• Secretary (Kathy Waugh leaving role June 30, 2027)

Our timeline is to have nominations by the beginning of October so that the slate can be presented at the RCAA meeting on October 28, 2026, for a vote by membership in the Club’s annual meeting December 2, 2026.
While the committee has selected some candidates and we are in the process of connecting with people, we encourage you to contact us if you would have a candidate you would like to suggest or submit a self-nomination. A leadership role with RCAA provides professional growth, creates greater opportunities for collaboration and strategic planning, and increases your ability to have global and local impact.
