Please join us on Tuesday, September 22 at 6:00pm at the Peony Garden in the Arboretum to celebrate the Dedication of the Peace Pole, a joint effort by the Rotaract Club of U of M and the ARC-Peace Committee of the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor. There will be a Dedication Ceremony followed by light refreshments.

The Peace Pole sits up on the hill overlooking the Peony Garden, It is a wonderful way to celebrate the 2026 United Nations International Day of Peace (September 21). Rotary International has joined in this recognition since 1984. This year’s theme is: Invest in Peace – For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day! This year’s theme honors the ‘everyday architects of peace’ – people driving local action, laying the groundwork for stability, and building a lasting peace from the ground up.
