Our club members brought red, white and blue balloons and colorful signs to the Detroit Metropolitan Airport on Saturday August 17 to welcome Tamaki Miura, our club’s exchange student from Japan.  The welcoming crew included Tamaki’s host family (Sara and Todd Maddock, Ashton and Ainsley), FanFan Zheng, Laura Valencia (former Rotary exchange student), Steve Ragsdale and Marlena Studer (Youth Exchange Officer).

We encourage club members to take an active role in welcoming Tamaki to the Ann Arbor community by inviting her to your home for dinner, taking her to an art exhibit, concert, or football game.  Please contact Marlena Studer (734-216-4443) to coordinate invitations.
