The new Rotary year began on July 1st, 2021, and with the new year we have some exciting new changes to our weekly newsletter.

First, the name has changed from the Harpoon to the Ann Arbor Rotarian. Thanks to all members who submitted new name suggestions and cast votes for this new name earlier this year.

Second, there are a few changes to the format of the newsletter you receive every Monday morning. The “Volunteer” opportunities section is removed and replaced with a section in the “In the News” section; the meeting notes from the previous week’s meeting are easier to find with bigger text; and more photos of our members are added.

Remember, if you want anything published online and in our newsletter, you can submit articles and calendar events through the website. Under “Events / News” in the main menu on the Home Screen, click “Submit an Article” or “Submit a Calendar Event” in the dropdown menu.
You can also submit items through email, but note that we are no longer using harpoon@a2rotary.org, but instead the new email address newsletter@a2rotary.org.
