12:33 Dave Keosaian shared the weekly music selection which was a swinging YouTube music video by Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington called “Don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing.”
12:36 President Susan officially welcomed all Members and Guests and shared the list of upcoming member birthdays.
12:38 Shelley MacMillan together with Anne Glendon announced the Distinguished Service Award honoring Bev Seiford. Shelley went on to describe all the efforts and achievements Bev Seiford has accomplished in her career involving teaching and consulting and how these skillsets have immensely benefited various programs in and outside of Rotary.
12:50 After Shelley and Anne completed the presentation of Bev’s background, Joanne Pierson invited Bev up on the stage and awarded her the Plaque for Distinguished Service Award. We thank Bev Seiford for all of her efforts and wonderful achievements supporting Rotary!

A wonderful, jazzy set of 4 songs were played by the Huron High School Jazz Band including songs:

13:30 President Susan announced next week’s presenter, Paul Krutko, President and CEO of Ann Arbor Spark who will be speaking on “The Innovation Economy in Ann Arbor.”
