We have heard from Hilda Alcindor, member of the Rotary Club de Port-au-Prince, about their club’s efforts during the COVID-19 outbreak. Hilda is from Leogane Haiti and is the dean of FSIL, the Haiti Nursing Foundation school which has received funds from our club.  They made and distributed 4,000 masks with the Rotary Logo. What are we waiting for?

If you would like to help make masks, Pat Stejskal, wife of our immediate past president Greg Stejskal has organized a group of amateur seamstresses to make cloth masks. (They have dubbed the effort MASKerAID.) Pat would like to recruit additional “seamstresses” – need to have access to & know how to operate a sewing machine.
