District 6380 Newsletter Leaning Toward Facebook

I suspect all of us club members received the latest issue of the District 6380 Newsletter via email. In it, Peter Tanner, District Website Ambassador, notes that Facebook is the way to go nowadays and gave us instructions on how to “Like” our District’s Facebook page with official postings and “Join” the District’s Facebook group that contains stories posted by members throughout the district. The District website will still be used for more static information and a repository for stories from Facebook. He encourages us to sign up to ensure we are up to date. If you want to read the current newsletter, click here. You will find it contains at least four articles that mention our club; 1) return to the Union with John Hewko, 2) a wrapup of the Peace in the Streets event, 3) our participation in Girls on the Run, and 4) a presentation on last year’s VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). Thanks to those in our club who shared this information with other Rotarians in the district.

While you’re at it, if you haven’t yet “liked” our own Club’s Facebook page, do so here. It’s a great way to get updates on events, news, and other noteworthy reads!
