Did you know that Terry Foster went to high school with actress Ann Margret? They both attended New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL.

Terry is the proud mother of two sons: Dave and Mark (who was president of our club in 2023-24) Her husband, Bob, was a member of our club for 48 years and is also a past president (1996-97). Bob’s Dad was a member who joined in 1962.

Terry served as executive director of the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation for 7 years and joined Rotary in 1992 to build professional connections and engage in community leadership. She has stayed for 33 years because of the friendships she’s formed here. Over the years, she has served on a number of committees, including the Board, Music, Community Allocations, STRIVE, Readers & Tutors, Scholarship and the History & Archives Committees.

Her hobbies include golf, reading, singing in the church choir and solving crossword puzzles.
