On behalf of RCAA, the ARC-Peace Committee is seeking nominations for the Robert S Northrup Humanitarian Award. This award is given annually to a person meeting the criteria outlined below, in celebration of the exceptional humanitarian service provided by Ann Arbor Rotarian Dr. Robert S. Northrup.
The individual must have made long term (multi-year) sustainable contributions to humanitarian efforts in local, national, or international arenas. The service provided should be a personal, not administrative, contribution. Click here for a more complete description of the award.
Nominations can be made by any member of the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor, other area and regional Rotary club members, or a person from the community at large. To nominate someone, fill out the single-page nomination form and send it, along with all related information, to Norma Sarkar, nsarkar@umich.edu and Karen Gladney, kogladney@gmail.com with NORTHRUP in the subject line, by MARCH 15, 2024.
Nominations will be reviewed by a committee of Rotarians and community leaders. The candidate selected will be asked to make a presentation in person or via ZOOM at the RCAA meeting on May 8, 2024.
