Rotarians at Glacier Hills: Millie Danielson on the “Warp and Weft of Life”

On Friday, October 18, was the monthly meeting of the Rotarians at Glacier Hills. It was a special privilege to have Sparky Leonard, District Governor for 6380 join us and meet the packed room of participants, including 17 Rotarians.

Past President Al Storey gave the Inspirational Welcome on the history of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Some members of the packed audience.

The featured speaker was Rotarian Millie Danielson who spoke on the “Warp and Weft of Life”. Millie’s passion for weaving inspired the theme for her presentation. Millie captivated the audience with her story of how her journey through life led her to weaving. Some good friends gave her a beautiful loom and at the time the YMCA had very in-depth courses on weaving and Millie began her lifelong career in the Fiber Arts. Millie shared some delightful slides from one of her fashion shows displaying her beautiful woven fashion designs. We truly enjoyed her presentation and her message to all was to follow your passion as it will enhance your journey through life.
