Josh Lanefeld from the Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation visited our board meeting to speak about the A2 Bicentennial Park and the updates/revisions that are being planned. The new park will include a splash pad, a play structure, restrooms, and a pavilion, which will all be open to the public. The projects are being done in phases. Phase 1 ($1.8M) consists of all the updates required to install and open a new Splash Pad. Friday, January 19 is the Bicentennial Kickoff event. Funding is required to make this happen. The millage brings in approximately $7.5M for the city. It covers a lot but is primarily focused on maintenance for the 163 parks in Ann Arbor.
