2021-2022 Annual Report Highlights RCAA Activities

Susan Froelich is pleased to announce that the 2021-2022 Rotary Club of Ann Arbor Annual Report is now available. This year’s annual report was designed in-house and produced in a digital-only format. This cost-saving approach allowed us to produce a lengthier report with more comprehensive updates and lots of photos! Highlights include:

  • Our Golf and Tennis Outing Fundraiser raised a net of $54,765 to support our work.
  • Dawn Johnson, with assistance from Rotaractors, organized our first-ever Huron River Clean Up.
  • Pints, Pinots and Pours, with the support of Roy More, Ashley’s Restaurant and Dragonmead Brewery raised over $3,600 for polio.
  • Even with the changes in our operations necessitated by COVID we brought in 18 new members, 5 transfers, and 1 reinstatement.
  • We raised $6,225 for Ukrainian assistance. This amount included $1,000 from the IHPC budget and and more than $5,000 from RCAA members.
  • Rotary Fights Child Hunger, our annual food drive raised the equivalent of  113,000 meals.
  • We celebrated our Universal Access Playground in Gallup Park  in June with a community party thrown by our Public Image Committee.
  • The Anti-Racism, Peace, and Public Image Committees together supported “Embracing Our Differences,” a community project that installed temporary banners at Gallup Park.
