Some of our more technologically-advanced members have been using the ClubRunner app on their smartphones to make a quick phone call to another member. What they find on occasion is that the number that comes up when they touch the phone icon shows a +7 country code. The country code for Russia is 7. Fear not. The problem comes from a glitch in uploading our membership data into ClubRunner. Even though all our phone numbers should have the +1 prefix (for USA), some didn’t get that code. Thus, the ClubRunner instant dialer program would see the 7 in 734 as the country code and it would appear that the phone call was being routed to Russia. Until John White can get all our entries corrected, the way to make a call if you encounter the +7 is to open the member’s listing and dial the number listed there with all their other contact info.
