Summary of April 16, 2025 Board of Directors Meeting

On the final day of the month our club had 202 Active Members, according to ClubRunner statistics. Attendance for March’s meetings was 36% (down 5% from last month). Average attendance at each meeting was 71 members and 6 guests. Our Engagement Ratio for the month was 54% (down 6% from last month).

March’s membership saw one termination and three new members inducted. New members included Kelly Doonan-Reed, Susan N. Smith, and James York. The one termination was Alex Gossage for nonpayment of club dues.

New Membership Nominations

The board approved nomination forms for a total of two new members. They are:

  • Mary Neff (Sponsors: Collyer Smith, Kate VanHorn and Anna Byberg)
  • Andre C. Anderson (Sponsors: Joyce Hunter, Dennis Burke and Pearlette Ramos)

Treasury Update

Our club financial highlights include Foundation total assets of $3,185,267.57 and Club operating cash balance of $50,333.81. The Foundation budget will be presented at the May Board Meeting.

Search Committee for Executive Administrator

The committee has received a number of resumes for qualified candidates. Interviews will begin soon.

Bank of Ann Arbor Billboard

The famous BOA billboard (located US 23 South as you exit I-94) currently thanks Rotary Club of Ann Arbor.

Community Allocations Proposals

The board was presented with the list of proposed Community Allocation grants to be fundel. The CAC selected 13 organizations to be funded, for a total allocation of $64,500. The CAC committee reviewed 58 applications this year; a historic high record.
