Dear Fellow Ann Arbor Rotarians:
I am writing to solicit volunteers for the 2021 Golf and Tennis Outing (GTO) to be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center in Plymouth, Michigan. I know September seems like a long way off, but we’d like to know we have enough volunteers for the event sooner rather than later. We will need a total of about 30 volunteers to help out at the event. We have almost a third signed up already, so we’re getting there and hope you will be able to look that far ahead and make a commitment to be a part of a fun team of volunteers who will work on the course, set up the event, arrange the auction display, and do registration and check-in at the event.
I understand that many of you may still have concerns about COVID-19. Please know that all current medical and safety guidelines and procedures will be adhered to before, during and after the event in order to protect all volunteers and participants. Your safety is our utmost concern.
The GTO is the largest and most important fundraising event of the year for the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor (RCAA). The event enables the RCAA to fund numerous programs which benefit at-risk children, children with disabilities, families in need throughout Washtenaw County and even some International grants.
I hope many of you will be interested in volunteering at this amazing and enjoyable event that supports our good works!
