Our weekly newsletter, the Harpoon, dates back to our club’s beginnings in 1916. Though it has evolved over the years, from being   a single type-written page, mailed to each member’s home (click here to read more history on the Harpoon), to its current email version appearing in every member’s inbox each week, the newsletter’s important role in documenting club activities and history has never changed, and never will.

After discussion with the Board of Directors on January 20th, 2021, it was agreed that our club will be changing the name of our weekly newsletter from the Harpoon (a historically rich, but sometimes confusing name) to something more contemporary and understandable.
