In order to conserve time in last Wednesday’s award ceremony honoring Dave Williams, some information was omitted. Here it is: The Distinguished Service Award is our club’s highest honor. It is given to those individuals and organizations who have exemplified the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” in their professional achievements, community involvement and/or contributions to local and international Rotary service. The committee in charge of this year’s selection and presentation process is chaired by the immediate past President Greg Stejskal.The members are Susan Froelich, Rob Shiff and John White. The club usually awards a total three to five annually. Over the years, about 160 DSAs have been presented. Over 50 current members of our club hold this distinction.
