From Handshakes to Hyperlinks: Things you didn’t know about the A2Y Chamber of Commerce!

Diane Keller, President and CEO of the A2Y Chamber of Commerce, will speak about Chambers of Commerce in the Digital Age. She will review the history of the A2Y Chamber; bring us up to date on the current efforts at fostering greater regional economic success, community prosperity, and improved quality of life; and how it is positioning itself for continued success in the digital age.

Diane is the President & CEO of the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber, a role she has held since 2002, leading one of Southeast Michigan’s most influential business organizations. With more than two decades of executive leadership at the A2Y Chamber, she has been central to advancing regional economic development, strengthening business advocacy, and fostering collaboration across Washtenaw County.

Before stepping into her long‑standing CEO role, Diane served as President of the Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce and played a pivotal part in the merger that unified the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti chambers—becoming the first executive director of the newly combined regional chamber. Her leadership was instrumental in aligning organizational structures, member benefits, and regional priorities during the transition.

Earlier in her career, Diane managed the Ypsilanti Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and operated her own public relations firm, building a foundation in communications, community engagement, and organizational development.

Diane is also deeply committed to community service. She has served on various boards including: the Washtenaw County Office of Community and Economic Development, Ypsilanti Area Community Fund, Eastern Michigan University Alumni Association, United Way of Washtenaw County, and Michigan Works! Workforce Development Board among others.

Diane is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Communications, married to her husband Dave for 41 years and has three sons.
