Origins & Impact of Arts Initiative
Mr. Clague is Professor of Music and Associate Dean for Collaborations and Partnerships at the School of Music, Theater and Dance. He is also the director of the U-M’s Gershwin Initiative.
The Arts Initiative (2019–) animates U-M’s “core commitment to the arts,” bringing creativity into every aspect of the university’s research, learning, and service mission. This talk explores efforts to date to bring forth ideas that amplify the potential of the vibrant and wide-ranging Michigan Arts ecosystem for all.
