Danny Ellis is the CEO and co-founder of Skyspecs, on of the leading companies that use drones to inspect wind turbines used for electricity production.

Skyspecs is a pure Michigan story. Ellis has a Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan. The company started developing drones to simplify civil infrastructure inspection, then pivoted to drone inspections of wind farms.
