The Anti-Racism Committee (ARC) meets twice a month, devoting one meeting to business / strategic planning and one meeting to a themed topic for education and discussion. Last month we learned about the history of housing discrimination in our country and in our state. Our theme for March 23rd will be learning more about the challenges our under-resourced at risk youth face in our communities. We have invited members of two fabulous non-profits, Girls Group and the Family Learning Institute, to share their perspectives on critical issues and suggest actions we might consider taking to make a difference. The zoom meeting will take place from 1:30 to 3:00 on March 23rd, and we’d love to have Rotarians join us to learn more about the struggles of children in our own backyard. Contact Marcia Lane, and she will gladly send you the zoom invitation and a couple of short videos to watch before the session. Hope to see many of you on zoom!
