Ann Arbor set a record in 2023 for the most solar arrays installed in a single year. Most were done through the city’s Solarize Program. Solarize provides technical assistance and group buys, which saves you lots of money. Collectively they installed over 840 kilowatts of solar in 2023 resulting in residents saving over $400,000 in installation costs. These folks will save an estimated $3.8 million in energy costs over the next 25 years. Over 600 households have participated in the Solarize program over the past 3 ½ years. Maybe YOU are ready?
