Adopt-a-Highway Trash Pick-Up

The Rotary Club of Ann Arbor is participating in the State of Michigan Adopt-A-Highway Program and has been identified with roadway signs as responsible for trash pick-up on a 2.1 mile stretch of I-94 between Platt Road and State Street for the next two years.

Three pick-up dates during the year have been designated for trash removal. The first two dates were suspended due to the pandemic. The fall pick-up dates are from September 26 – October 4, 2020.

Dates chosen for the Club’s fall pick-up are Saturday, September 26 with Saturday, October 3 as the rain date. Start time on either date will be 9:00am.

Children 12 – 17 years of age may participate with adequate adult supervision.

Safety vests and collection bags will be supplied by the State.

A rendezvous point on the day of pick-up will be announced at a later date.
