As many of us know, the District level in Rotary is just above the Club level. Our district is 6380 and supports 47 clubs and almost 1500 members in southeastern Michigan and southwestern Ontario. Below is a list of what’s coming up that’s of interest to a wide range of Rotarians. Follow the links for details. The complete list can be found in the right-hand column on rotary6380.org.
Tuesday, Feb. 8 – DEI Kickoff meeting. This was a Zoom event that drew almost 50 Rotarians, including ten from our club. The committee is looking for members. Express your interest to RotaryDEIJ@gmail.com.
Thursday, Feb. 24 – Peace Committee Gun Violence/Prevention Seminar. Our own Marcia Lane is chairing this multi-district effort. Participation by Zoom.
Saturday, Feb. 26 – Grants Management Workshop. Any club planning of seeking grants needs two participants. To be held in person at Concordia University.
Sunday, April 3 (originally scheduled for February 13) – Interact Peace Assembly. Our Interactors need to know about this one. Participation by Zoom.
