In years past, the May board meeting was designated as a Board Retreat for the old board to wrap up the year and for the new board to prepare for their terms. Due to COVID restrictions that did not allow in person meetings, President-Elect Susan requested that incoming and outgoing board members introduce themselves. After that members were assigned to breakout rooms to discuss four different challenges facing Rotary as presented by RI President-Elect Shekhar Mehta. They are 1) Intergenerational Activities, 2) Protecting the Environment, 3) Empowering Girls, and 4) Each One, Bring One. Finally, the Board reviewed and approved the 2021-2022 Budget as presented by President-Elect Susan.
