Summary of the March 18, 2026 Board of Directors Meeting

On the final day of the month our club had 199 Active Members. All membership information is pulled from ClubRunner statistics. Attendance for February’s meetings was 31% (down 5% from last month). Average attendance at each meeting was 60 members and 7 guests. Our Engagement Ratio for the month was 58% (down 8% from last month).

Membership lost two members: Amy Kilbourne (Business Pressure) and Michelle Julet (Moved) and gained three members: John Greden, Derek Jankowski, and Eric Keller.

Treasury Update

Our club financial highlights include Foundation total assets of $4,169,138.31, and Club operating cash balance of is $56,778.12. Net income was minimally changed in February.

The board approved the Club Budget for fiscal Year 2026-2027. Please note that this budget proposal has no increase in dues, allocates costs for the RI International Conference and the Large Club Conference 50/50 with AARF, and carries a $2,944 excess of income over expense.

As of this writing, we have three members who have not paid their CSA. Efforts have been made to contact them. Termination letters will go out for those that do not respond.

Annual Survey

As of March 17, we had 67 respondents. The survey closes at 5pm on March 19th; after which the team will begin working in the data. The survey team is also working on a survey for prospective members that we can use for guests that visit our club. More information will be forthcoming when the survey nears completion.

Policy Review

The committee that is working on the “Shared Items/Solicitations” gave themselves an April 15th deadline to provide their comments. The goal is to approve the policies in the May board meeting and follow up with membership communication in June.

Corporate Membership Proposal

The Membership Committee has been working on a Corporate Membership document and sample application for the board to consider for approval.

  • Key items include two tiers of membership: Basic Corporate and Non-Profit or Governmental.
  • The Membership Committee (MC) has podium time next week to discuss this with members. MC will continue to lead this initiative.
