John White arrived at the podium at the June 21 luncheon wearing an apron, a hair net, and a packet of ingredients from last year’s food packing event. He quickly had everyone’s attention and offered attendees a chance to participate in a kickoff meeting to plan this year’s edition. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 6:30pm at a local location to be announced. All the basic requirements have been addressed such as the date (Sat. 10/28), place (Pioneer High), and approvals (all three Ann Arbor Rotary Clubs are on board with a total of $2500 pledged).
