October is the special season for our celebration of all that has been accomplished as we work towards the eradication of polio, and a focus on what still needs to be done.
Usually we meet in person around this time, but this year we were forced to go back to Zoom so we were unable to collect donations for polio when Neil McBeth spoke to us about Polio Plus this past week. Many of you supported the efforts of District 6380 by attending the presentation of author Jim Tobin this past week, and others will hopefully be gathering at Ashley’s this Sunday to support a special fundraiser for polio called “Pints, Pinot and Pours for Polio”.
If you have been unable to as of yet support a Rotary Polio Eradication effort please know that you may also send in a special Polio Donation to Lori at any time, or later this fall with your CSA. Checks made be made out to “Ann Arbor Rotary Foundation”.
Thank you for all you have done and continue to do to support this most important program of Rotary.
