Starting this fall, our Ann Arbor Rotary Club will be hosting a teenager from Japan named Tamaki. This friendly, energetic teen will be welcomed into the home of Sara and Todd Maddock and will attend Pioneer High School. More importantly, we will become her community of family and friends for the academic year she stays here. Her memories and affection will be built from the ways we open our hearts and homes to her.
We hope that you will become a cherished part of Tamaki’s community during her stay here. You might choose to invite her to your home for a meal, invite her to join you at an event or concert or to donate some money to support her stay here. To make sure her personal and school needs are covered, we provide her with a $200 monthly allowance.
We would appreciate any amount you can donate to the Fundraising concert we are putting on to raise the money for her allowance. ALL FUNDS raised at our Concert will go toward funding Tamaki’s allowance.
