Introducing the Engaged Community Collective

Feel Better. Give Back. Grow Together.

Whether you are a young professional, parent, student over 18, senior citizen, or veteran, having a community support your mental wellness makes a huge difference—something that I have personally experienced. After meeting with so many  mental health organizations, as well as  attending numerous mental health seminars, a movement has bubbled up- the Engaged Community Collective. The Engaged Community Collective will be a community-based Rotaract Club focused on mental health.

We will be holding an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 14th from 7-8 PM Eastern Time, as shown in the flyer below.  To attend the meeting, you must register by going to https://forms.gle/7eFCA1X7PABEGH2t8.

2025 Ann Arbor Marathon devoted to mental health

Logo for the Ann Arbor Marathon. In addition, The Rotary Club of Ann Arbor, and Washtenaw Toastmasters, are sponsoring the Ann Arbor Marathon, which this year is solely dedicated to mental health. The theme of this year’s Marathon is “E-Race the Stigma surrounding mental health!”

There is a symposium the day before (Saturday, October 11th from noon to 4 pm), which is open and free to the public. I am honored to be the emcee for this event. The symposium will have speakers talking about aspects of mental health and resiliency, and there will be booths supporting good mental health. One of the booths will be a Rotary Club of Ann Arbor booth. Click here, then scroll down to see the key speakers and supporters.
