Due to the available dates at Fox Hills Golf Course (the first Monday after Labor Day was unavailable) our major fundraiser, the Golf and Tennis Outing (GTO), will be held Wednesday September 14, 2022.  Since Wednesday is the usual day for our regular Rotary meetings and since the GTO will be the Rotary meeting for the week, the GTO committee selected this date from the available dates.   The GTO committee also decided to try an earlier start time this year, so as to free up participants to enjoy more of their own evening time.  As such, the golf starts at 9:00am , the Auction at 2:00pm, and the evening banquet will start at 4:00pm and be over by approximately 6:00pm, giving you more time at home.  This year our guest speaker will be Jim Brandstatter, the former voice of Michigan football and a well known regional and statewide personality.

At this time the GTO committee needs to have a volunteer step up to be the lead person for the Auction (we do have experienced Rotarians who will assist).  As you know the Auction is a major contributor to the financial success of the GTO (the proceeds from which help to make our various projects possible).  Thus, having one of our Rotarians volunteer for this position is essential to the success of the Outing.  Also we will need volunteers for various other areas which will be delineated in detail in upcoming publications.

In summary please mark your calendar and plan to attend the GTO as a volunteer, a golfer, an auction donor, a dinner attendee, or if you cannot attend, as an event donor so that we can continue to better support our various projects.
