Ann Arbor’s Sustainable Energy Utility: What, Why, When, and How!
Shoshannah Lenski will introduce us to The Ann Arbor Sustainable Energy Utility, an opt-in, supplemental community-owned energy utility that provides 100% renewable energy from local solar and battery storage systems and networked geothermal systems installed at participating homes and businesses in the City.
Lenski brings a wealth of experience and leadership in sustainability, strategy and utility operations. She most recently served as associate director of the University of Michigan Center for Sustainable Systems and previously held several executive roles at DTE Energy, including director of gas strategy, director of enterprise performance management, and director of infrastructure renewal operations. Additionally, she has served as a consultant for the globally recognized Boston Consulting Group.
