Sat. Apr 23: Adopt-a-Highway Spring Cleanup, 9-11:30am

Join the Rotary Road Waste Warriors for the club’s spring highway trash pickup scheduled for Saturday, April 23 and be a part of District 6380’s Environmental Work Day. Participants in groups of four will be assigned to less than a city block in length, on one side of the highway (I-94 between State and Platt), to help pitch in against the never ending battle to eliminate highway blight. All while driving home the club’s public image of an organization whose motto is “Service Above Self.”

You read it right, participants walk less than a city block to help the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor collect positive images about its impact in the community, and also participate in District 6380’s Environmental Work Day.

The time commitment Saturday, April 23, is from 9:00-11:30am with about an hour and fifteen minutes on the highway.

A complimentary box lunch and Rotarian socializing will be provided for participants at the conclusion of the event.
