This massive community effort during annual student move-in/out transitions saves tons (literally!) of clothing and household items from the landfill and diverts them to communities in need. The coordinated effort includes fraternities, sororities, other student groups, university officials and a large number of community service groups.

Rotary will join with Kiwanis, Habitat for Humanity, Restore, Salvation Army, HouseN2Home, the Ann Arbor Area Apartment Association, and the city itself.

Please sign up for volunteer slots at several different locations and times, between April 25 and May 8. When you sign up you will be offered a “Comment” box. Please write in Rotary Club of Ann Arbor. This should be great fun working together and with younger folks from around the community in a common cause.
