It is the time of year for the “Changing of the Guard” when the current President passes the gavel to the incoming President. President Rosemarie said a special thank you to both Boards for guiding the club through the transition back to the Michigan Union and through an especially difficult COVID-19 spring. Greg Stejskal has completed his Past President duties and will be stepping down from the Board. Joanne Pierson will be our next President with Susan Froelich as President Elect. Ebru Misirli Mansfield, Club Service Director will be succeeded by Tom Millard. Carol Senneff, Youth Achievement Director will be succeeded by Steve Pierce. Lauren Heinonen will be the Director of Public Image. Most notably our Sergeant at Arms Dave Williams will be ending his tenure after 15 years of service to our club. Dave was always that calm, steady hand the made our weekly meetings run smoothly and while there were some hiccups Dave was there to solve the problem. Karen Wasco is the Sergeant at Arms appointee. A big hearty thank you to everyone that who use their “time, talent and treasures” to serve in leadership positions to guide our club into the future.

Finally, a very special thank you to President Rosemarie for her leadership in 2019-2020. She faced every challenge and roadblock with the grace and strength of a true leader.
