Spring 2018 Class Project: Tree Tags!

As you may know, a goal for 2018 is for every Rotarian to plant a tree. That said, Scott Nelson (past president of Ann Arbor North Club) is leading an effort to plant 100 trees as a wrap up to the district conference the first week of May. The trees will be planted in Ypsilanti in Rolling Hills Park and around a number of Ypsilanti’s township buildings. The plan is to plant 100 trees each year in the town that hosts the district meeting.

Our project is to fund those trees. Members of our Spring 2018 New Member Class will be selling “tree tags” with a minimum donation of $60 each (you can purchase more than one — for example, one for each of your grandchildren) before and after the luncheon meeting on May 2. You will be able to personalize each tag on the back, which is a wonderful way to honor a loved one.

Any extra funds collected will pay for the tags themselves with the balance going to our Ann Arbor Club Endowment.

Only 60 tags are remaining! So, why don’t you write out your check now, written out to Ann Arbor Rotary, and put it in your wallet to bring to the meeting?
**Credit cards will now be accepted!
